This project focuses on Interpretive Signage for labeling and highlighting Auburn University Campus’s preexisting green infrastructure. The purpose of the project is to educate the campus community on the types of sustainable practices currently implemented and raise campus awareness about ways to help prevent storm water pollution in urbanized areas. The two green infrastructure projects that are highlighted are the Foy Rain Garden and the Mell Bioswale.

Project deliverables include a 12x12 sign of the two sites as well as an online website and walking tour. Theinterpretive signage showcases cross sectionals of the two sites to the practices and a brief introduction of the green infrastructure on Auburn University’s campus. A QR code is accessible through the sign which will direct the user to the online tour. The walking tour features several stormwater management sites with a location monitor and brief description of the sites. It is followed up with information on the Foy Rain Garden and Mell Bioswale, featuring before and after photos, educational videos, and in-depth material to provide greater insight onto the project at hand.
