Personal Environmental Ethic

My personal environmental ethic’s paper, “The Twisted Use of Ethics to Corporate Benefit”, digs into the values of items of art vs. distraction, and environmental consciousness of pretending vs. acting.

My personal environmental ethic can be summed up here. It pertains to mass production vs. mass consumption. The reliance of individual effort for a greater cause. It is a system forced upon us by larger irresponsible, mass producing corporations. Yet, to stay true to what an individual can do, then it must be placed upon the individual’s actions. Whether to comply or not to the systems provided.

“I look at it as a systematic web of give and take between single materials, ideas, art, and person’s actions as all separate determining factors of importance towards the effect of the health of the planet. I recognize the functionality, we all play towards the economically focused product we have turned the world into, unintentionally and unaware to the preset system, we are all at play. The necessity of personal awareness and action within the corruption of capitalism is key to sustainability towards the planet.”
